The Role
As a Senior Engineering Manager at Amperity, you’ll build a high-performing team delivering solutions to complex challenges with customer impact. You’re passionate about allowing customer success by ensuring our technology drives value where it matters most. You’ll mentor engineers, encouraging an environment where individuals excel. You believe great teams are built on collaboration, psychological safety, and solving meaningful problems together.
You bring both technical depth and leadership expertise. You enjoy solving challenges in large-scale data systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and in full-stack experiences. You collaborate with other leaders to lead best practices, promote learning, and ensure we’re building technology that meets customer needs and advances the future of customer data management. You show curiosity, innovation, and deliver high-quality results that move the business forward.
You will report to the SVP, Engineering .
Interesting Problems
- Ingest and process massive data volumes, blending batch and real-time events to create accurate customer profiles.
- Turn research algorithms into reliable, high-scale production systems.
- Empower users with real-time querying to surface insights quickly.
- Create full-stack, delightful experiences to help marketers design and launch journeys, campaigns, and orchestrations that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Shape the evolution of Amperity’s UI toward AI-first, agentic workflows that guide users from intent to insights and actions.
About You
- 12+ years of software development experience, including recent hands-on work with large-scale distributed systems, big data, analytics, cloud-native technologies, and AI at scale.
- 5+ years of management experience in.
- Passionate about encouraging collaboration, inclusivity, and empathy to build a great place to work.
- Committed to building empowered, autonomous, and psychologically safe teams that improve their ways of working.
- Lead complex, cross-team projects in close partnership with product, customers, and engineering.
- Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge and explore new technologies through practical, hands-on work.
- Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners with a knack for making complex topics clear and actionable for diverse audiences.

Our hybrid work model includes three days in the office each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility
Compensation
Base Salary: $190,000-$260,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.
Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.
Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
