Job Description:
Our Senior Manager, Reporting Services will play a key role in data and analytics delivery, supporting the strategic enablement of data-driven decision-making for our clients. This remote position is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role involves leading a cross-functional team to implement robust backend data structures and deliver compelling front-end visualizations that align with client needs and business objectives.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a client-facing team to deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
- Oversee the full reporting lifecycle—from data acquisition and transformation to dashboard delivery—ensuring accuracy and usability.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into custom reporting solutions.
- Drive the implementation of backend data structures, including ETL processes, data modeling, and warehousing.
- Deliver actionable, user-friendly visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Establish and maintain best practices for data architecture, transformation processes, and visualization standards.
- Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and Services Delivery teams to ensure timely and effective implementations.
- Present reporting insights and outcomes to clients, transforming complex data into digestible and strategic recommendations.
- Champion continuous improvement by adopting new reporting tools, methodologies, and performance metrics.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/company.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting services.
- 5+ years of experience leading reporting strategy for senior stakeholders such as CFOs, finance leaders, and business decision-makers.
- Proven success managing client-facing teams in data delivery, with both backend and frontend reporting expertise.
- Strong knowledge of ETL pipelines, data modeling, and database management.
- Proficiency in modern reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Solid project management capabilities with experience managing multiple concurrent client projects.
- Familiarity with the Azure cloud platform and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
