THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Sr. Manager, Social Strategy & Content, who will take Hint’s social channels to the next level through creative storytelling and engaging content. This person will report into the Sr. Director of Brand and Innovation.

This person will have experience developing and executing social media strategies for leading brands, and will be responsible for storytelling, brand voice, and digital engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative leader, with a deep understanding of social-first content, a pulse on culture and digital trends, and evolving consumer behavior. As the Sr. Manager, Social Strategy & Content you will oversee content creation, social strategy, editorial planning and community engagement, turning insights into resonant activations and growing our Hint community.

This person will report to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing and Innovation and have one direct report. While this is a remote role, we require that the person live on the East Coast and commit to working East Coast hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy, Content & Storytelling

  • Own the end-to-end creation of TikTok/IG/Social static & video content: from creative concept to shooting, editing, and publishing.
  • Create photo and video content in real time when needed to deliver culturally relevant content and join the cultural conversation
  • Build network of UGC and content creators, freelancers to fulfill photo and video content needs that are not able to be executed personally/internally.
  • Transform our Social Media channels into a vibrant hub for Hint consumers to learn and engage with us!
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives, including content calendars, campaign roadmaps, and platform-specific approaches for optimal engagement
  • Develop social playbook & SOPs that grow our community, brand partners, and brand engagement
  • Own the creative briefing process for both paid and organic social media campaigns across multiple platforms; work closely with the performance team to optimize paid social ads including cohort identification, budget allocation, audience targeting, and ROI optimization in alignment with brand and company goals

  • Establish and track KPIs for engagement, growth and impact
  • Utilize Sprout Social to identify opportunities and demonstrate your analytical superpowers
  • Translate complex social data into clear recommendations that drive business results

Innovation & Integration

  • Seamlessly connect social commerce with our Shopify ecosystem
  • Stay ahead of platform updates and emerging trends before they hit mainstream
  • Work with Sr. Manager, Influencer Marketing, to optimize Influencer content and maximize brand exposure

Team Management

  • Foster a collaborative and inspiring environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
  • Provide regular feedback, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure they excel in their roles.
  • Lead and elevate community engagement efforts alongside Community Manager and support agencies (ie. Amplify, Talentpop)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing social media channels for brands in the CPG, health, beauty, or fashion industries

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field

  • Understanding of paid social media metrics and advertising content

  • Background in social content strategy, organic, paid and earned/influencer marketing with a history of developing social strategy and driving results across all facets of social media management, including social listening, community management, content strategy, and analytics.

  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape, social platform algorithms, and advanced native platform features.

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills; ability to inform, influence and negotiate across functions and with all organization levels. Ability to tell stories well via PowerPoint and on social media platforms.

  • Experience with social listening tools, methodology and a track record of applying listening insights to work

  • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at various levels of seniority

  • Base salary of $120,000-135,000 based on territory and experience. The actual salary offer may vary based on location and work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
