The Role:
The Sr Manager, Solutions Architecture will provide ongoing coaching and management to a growing team of Solution Architects (SA). This is a management position for the SA team, which is a team dedicated to reducing friction and bridging the gap between non-technical stakeholders and their technical vision. In order to bridge that gap, you’ll partner with members of the Customer Success team to advise our customers on architecture and technology decisions, as well as engage the pre-sales Solutions Consulting team to educate our GTM team and buyers on various technologies.
As part of the engagements, you’ll be responsible for managing the team that answers all functional and technical questions pertaining to the Iterable platform, including our mobile offering, Iterable technology partner offering, as well as consulting on general Martech technology topics. As the leader of a technically capable team, you will be expected to continue to deepen your technical knowledge while forging cross-functional partnerships with critical members of the Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.
You will be expected to drive team initiatives, manage our strategic deals, mentor all levels of Solutions Architects, and drive strategic initiatives in conjunction with your partners in the Sales and Customer Success leadership group. You will ideate and execute on GTM projects that will directly impact all aspects of a GTM organization, including but not limited to net new ARR, net retention, gross margin, net expansion, and win rate.
Position Details:
- Serve as the manager of our Solutions Architects, who act as our platform and technology experts
- Help hire, onboard, ramp, and mentor the team
- Develop team communication, strategy, and technical skills while guiding them in high-stakes expansion deals
- Serve as a technical expert and escalation point for strategic and high-impact opportunities
- Focus on the growth of our existing team members to help everyone hit their long-term career objectives
- Partner with Customer Success leaders and Account Managers to strategize towards hitting customer growth and retention goals
- Devise a plan to deploy SAs to drive success for our most strategic customers
- Develop an understanding of key metrics within the GTM organization, and devise and execute on initiatives to help improve said metrics
- Surface and distill field observations into meaningful strategic shifts
- Develop strong relationships and understanding of the objectives of your crossfunctional stakeholders across the organization (Sales, PS, BD, CS, Ops, Product, Marketing) and help influence their outcomes
- Build consultative relationships with prospects, customers, and Iterable’s partner network
- Contribute to product development by providing insight and feedback relative to customers’ critical business issues and expansion opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will Be/Have:
- Multiple experiences in being the technical and architectural expert for a sophisticated SaaS software
- Experience working across pre and post-sales technical teams
- Experience leading teams across regions. Big plus of experience building out teams outside of North America
- Experience managing customer-focused organizations (ideally a Solutions Consulting/Solutions Architect/Success Engineering team)
- Experience with SaaS and/or MarTech/data analytics industry
- Strong experience working with Agentic AI, API design, AWS/EC2/S3/Lambda, ETL, Mobile SDK (iOS/Android), HTML/CSS, and Cloud Databases and Platforms
- Previous blend of experience in Sales, Business Development, and Services Delivery for a SaaS solution is highly desirable
- Demonstrated expertise in understanding customer requirements and proposing solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to persuasively articulate Iterable offerings and business value to customers
- Experience presenting with executive stakeholders, internally and externally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial “start-up” environment, requiring strong skills in critical thinking, influencing, and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Ability to travel 25-30% of the time

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $139,000-175,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by the specific US work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.
Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, and a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health and fitness and learning and development, among others.
