How You Will Make an Impact
As a Senior Engineering Manager for the Outcome Management team, you will lead the charge in scaling the intelligence and analytics layer of our platform. You will be a key technical leader responsible for the teams that sit at the critical intersection of data, analytics, and experimentation. The Iterable platform, as a whole, ingests billions of events and powers billions of messages monthly. Your teams will focus on building highly scalable systems that enable our enterprise customers to measure, understand, and optimize their results. As a technical leader, you are responsible for growing and enabling three critical teams to innovate and deliver the enterprise-grade components that turn our customers’ data into actionable insights.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, data-savvy engineering leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, can cut through ambiguity, and consistently turns vision into action. You’ll collaborate with execs, customers, and cross-functional partners to drive technical execution while helping shape the future of Iterable’s data and insights ecosystem.

How You Will Make a Difference
- Lead and grow multiple high-impact engineering teams delivering enterprise-grade, scalable, and reliable software products.
- Work across Product, Data, and Customer Experience teams to identify, build, and deliver data-powered features that delight marketers.
- Own long-term technical direction for our Outcome Management stack, including data pipelines, data modeling, and in-product analytics.
- Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders and execs; act as a customer advocate during product and architectural planning.
- Prioritize ruthless execution by fostering a bias for action, embracing lean principles, and removing roadblocks for your teams.
- Be a mentor and coach to a diverse, high-performing team; invest in career growth and create a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
We Are Looking for People Who Have
- Proven experience leading engineering teams building enterprise-grade SaaS applications and data platforms.
- Deep expertise in modern data infrastructure technologies such as Snowflake, Kafka, Pulsar, Postgres, ElasticSearch.
- A background in building at scale—managing large data sets, high-throughput systems, and low-latency APIs.
- Strong architectural instincts and the ability to guide system design decisions for data processing, experimentation frameworks, and observability.
- Demonstrated ability to engage directly with customers and stakeholders, gather feedback, and translate it into product and engineering outcomes.
- Passion for fast-paced environments, and a “hacker mindset” with a drive to move quickly, test rapidly, and deliver results.
- Experience scaling and mentoring engineering talent while fostering psychological safety and inclusive team dynamics.
- A strong product mindset, and a passion for solving real customer problems with elegant technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align technical execution with strategic goals and collaborate across time zones.
Bonus Points
- Experience building analytics or experimentation products for marketers.
- Past experience working in MarTech, AdTech, or customer communications platforms.
- Track record of open-source contributions, speaking engagements, or published technical content/blog posts.
- Familiarity with growth experimentation, attribution modeling, and data democratization in enterprise software.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $180,000 - $279,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.
Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
