The Team:
As a Product Manager at Neo4j, you will play a key role in shaping the direction and success of our products by leveraging data to deeply understand our business performance and customer behavior. Your focus will be on identifying and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), advising on product strategy based on insights, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure our products meet both business objectives and user needs. You’ll work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and data teams to turn strategic goals into tangible product outcomes.
The Role:
- Own the internal product telemetry product and drive its adoption among product managers and other stakeholders
- Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Define and track product and business KPIs to guide strategic decision-making and evaluate product performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data is clean, well-organized, and accessible for analysis.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data used for reporting and decision-making.
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure decisions are informed by high-quality insights.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally to align product strategy with company goals, customer success, and go-to-market plans.
- Stay on top of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to your product domain.
- Utilize SQL and other querying tools to extract and manipulate data from various databases and systems.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within datasets to help drive strategic business decisions.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in a SaaS, analytics, or data-driven environment.
- Strong analytical background and experience working with KPIs to drive product decisions.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data extraction. Knowledge of Python or other programming languages is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Superset/Preset.io, or Looker.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and GTM.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proven ability to translate insights into strategic plans and product roadmaps.
- Experience with data warehousing and cloud platforms like Google Cloud, BigQuery, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA a plus)
