Job description

About Wunderkind:

Wunderkind is a performance marketing solution that uses AI and data to help brands acquire and retain customers through one-to-one, personalized messages across websites, email, text, and ads, guaranteeing a lift in revenue. Founded in 2010, Our goal is to scale a brand’s ability to create and grow customer relationships through websites, email, text, and ads. We believe individuals should have the freedom to choose the kind of internet they want. An internet that fosters genuine relationships with brands. An internet that treats humans like real people instead of “web traffic.” We also believe in empowering brands to treat their customers as individuals, satisfying their unique needs with tailored experiences and thoughtful communication. By expertly personalizing, automating, and scaling beautiful one-to-one experiences, Wunderkind helps brands acquire new customers at scale and keep them loyal for life.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a unique blend of operator, strategist, and executional powerhouse — someone who can drive programs across engineering and product teams while also serving as a right-hand partner to the Product & Engineering Leadership Team (SVP of Product, VP of Engineering, & Head of Architecture).

This is a high-impact role at the heart of our technology organization, responsible for both making sure the trains run on time and helping design the tracks.

If you thrive in ambiguity, bring order to chaos, and love working across disciplines to get stuff done — we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

Program Management & Execution

  • Develop and implement program management strategies aligned with company goals, overseeing the full project lifecycle from planning through delivery across client-facing and internal initiatives.
  • Lead efforts to embed best practices into the software development lifecycle, continuously refining processes, tools, and team operations to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering to define goals, ensure cross-functional alignment, and maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track progress and performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure both internal success and strong client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the end-to-end OKR planning and development process, ensuring Product & Engineering goals are clearly defined, aligned, and tracked across teams.
  • Identify, implement, and manage tools and systems that enhance cross-functional communication, visibility, and alignment between Product & Engineering, and Commercial teams.

Product Operations Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the Product & Engineering Leadership Team (SVP of Product, VP of Engineering, & Head of Architecture), helping prioritize and align the org to key goals
  • Proactively manage budgeting, staffing, and scheduling needs while identifying risks early and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Drive internal communications and ensure transparency across teams and leadership
  • Lead special projects, from hiring initiatives to operational improvements, on behalf of the leadership team
  • Prepare briefing materials, leadership updates, and board-level content related to product and engineering progress
  • Plan and execute team, department, and leadership offsites—owning logistics, agendas, and outcomes to foster alignment, collaboration, and strategic focus across the organization.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, operations, or chief of staff–like roles within tech organizations
  • Strong technical literacy; able to translate between engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Experience supporting or partnering with senior leaders (e.g., CTO, VP Eng, Head of Product)
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Scrappy, low-ego, and thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience at a startup or scaling org
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred
