We are a worldwide leader in purchasing & inventory management, and labour & payroll solutions for the hospitality industry. We process the payroll for more than 30% of the UK’s hospitality staff - that is more than 3.2 million payslips. We’re looking for a driven Senior QA Engineer to play a key role in our existing Tradesimple team focusing on supporting systems related to stock & order management and automated document ingestion and processing. You’ll contribute to the full lifecycle of the software delivery using Agile/Scrum methodology, while ensuring the highest quality is delivered to our customers. Working from site & remote, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.
The job …
- Collaborating with team, product, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, and deliver quality solutions that meet acceptance criteria.
- Analyse functionality to decide testing coverage, identifying which areas can be automated.
- Creation of tests scenarios following Gherkin Syntax.
- Perform manual testing for areas not automated.
- Mentoring more junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate …
- Experience with Web automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright).
- JMeter or any other Performance testing framework
- Tech stack: .NET, ASP.NET, MSSQL, VB6
- Infrastructure and CI/CD: Azure/Azure Pipelines and DevOps
- Wealth of API Testing experience (Postman)
- Knowledge of Testing Best Practices and BDD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Used to working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Experience with complex algorithms, and high transactional throughput.
- Passionate about technology and quality assurance.
