Job Summary
As a Senior SDET (15228), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and implement end-to-end automated tests using Pytest, ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of applications across the entire software stack.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand business requirements and effectively write complex SQL queries for verifying data transformations and expected behaviors.
- Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline by integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth deployment processes and streamlined testing workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
- Professional/ Advanced English skills.
- Strong experience with automation testing using Pytest, with a proven ability to write, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases.
- Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries to validate data transformations and ensure the integrity of data in databases or warehouses.
- Intermediate knowledge of Databricks and DBT, including understanding catalogs/schemas/tables and basic knowledge of how to run queries and write DBT project seeds.
