We were founded in 1996 and are headquartered in Seattle, Washington, with offices across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. We provide unified cybersecurity solutions for managed service providers (MSPs), protecting over 250,000 customers through more than 17,000 security resellers and service providers.

Our offerings include network security, endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, and secure Wi-Fi. Our key products are unified threat management appliances, next-generation firewalls, web security, identity security, and Security Operations Center (SOC) services, including Managed Detection and Response (MDR).

The WatchGuard Unified Security Platform® gives our customers complete security. It uses WatchGuard Cloud for centralized management and automation, and includes AI-driven XDR solutions via ThreatSync and identity-based security for zero trust. We also offer ²⁴⁄₇ detection and response through our MDR service. Joe Smolarski is our Chief Executive Officer.
