Cross-functional teams, led by engineering and product managers, and designers, deliver services capable of processing billions of records using event-based architecture in real time, sustaining millions of visits per day, and sending tens of billions of communications per year.

We are expanding and looking for a Senior SRE Engineer to build a platform that enables experienced teams to choose, spin and observe standard building blocks easily and help us reach our moonshot mission.

What you’ll do @Omnisend:

  • Ensure that Experience teams can set up and manage their datastores autonomously;
  • Building self-service and introduce standards for Experience teams to manage their Cloud resources - share knowledge and best practises;
  • Look after and scale observability stack - Prometheus, Thanos, Grafanalabs Loki and Grafanalabs Tempo.
  • Experiment with new stack elements or services;
  • Ensure that Kubernetes cluster running  ~400 microservices is stable and scalable.

We expect that you’ll bring:

  • Hands-on experience with any datastore (preferably MongoDB, PostgreSQL, mySQL, Redis);
  • Understanding and knowledge of IaaS (Terraform, Ansible, etc.);
  • Experience with building CI/CD pipelines;
  • Knowledge of cloud services (any major cloud provider, preferably GCP);
  • Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian);
  • Experience with Kubernetes;
  • Software development knowledge with Golang (huge plus).
