The Role:

The Senior UX Content Designer plays a critical role in shaping product content by ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with user needs. In this role, you will partner with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to craft user-centric content that enhances product usability and engagement. You will also contribute to content strategy initiatives, advocate for best practices in UX design, and support the evolution of the company’s content design systems.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Develop clear, concise, and engaging UX content that improves usability and enhances the user experience across digital products.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to align content with user and business needs.
  • Contribute to and help maintain the UX Content Style Guide, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and language across all products.
  • Apply user research and data insights to inform content decisions and continuously optimize content for better engagement and accessibility.
  • Ensure UX content adheres to accessibility standards and supports an inclusive experience for diverse user groups.
  • Partner with localization teams to adapt content for global audiences while maintaining clarity and intent.
  • Assist in content audits, usability testing, and A/B testing to refine and validate content effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to junior content designers, helping them improve their craft and grow their impact.
  • Advocate for UX content best practices across teams, educating stakeholders on the role of content in product design.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and emerging best practices in UX design and content strategy.

Performance Management:

Success will be measured by:

  • The impact of UX content on usability, engagement, and overall user experience.
  • Contributions to the consistency and scalability of content design systems.
  • Collaboration effectiveness with cross-functional teams.
  • Support and mentorship of junior UX content designers.
  • Adherence to accessibility and localization best practices.
  • Improvements in content quality through user research and testing.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX content design, UX writing, content strategy, or a related field.
  • A portfolio that shows:
    • A strong portfolio showcasing UI content work that demonstrates clarity, problem-solving, and user-centered content design.
    • Experience working within product design teams in a SaaS, martech, or AI-driven environment is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and content strategy best practices.
    • Proficiency in design collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.
    • Experience leveraging user research, usability testing, and analytics to drive content decisions.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, iterative product development environment.
    • Strong editing skills with an eye for detail, consistency, and clarity.

  • Stays engaged with industry trends and continuously seeks opportunities for growth and innovation in UX content design.

Base Salary Range: $147,262- $215,985. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. In addition, 6sense provides a variety of benefits, including generous health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, self-care days, and paid time off (PTO). #Li-remote
