Join our client’s team as a Shipping Clerk and AI Trainer, where you’ll play a critical role at the intersection of shipping expertise and advanced technology. In this distinctive position, you’ll utilize your industry experience to aid in the development and training of AI systems, ensuring they accurately reflect the realities of current shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Share your expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) while working remotely with a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with both company policies and regulatory standards.
Document, track, and manage inventory using best practices and digital tools.
Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Prepare shipments by packing, labeling, and documenting shipment details.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and refine shipping processes.
Serve as an SME for AI training, providing feedback and annotating data to enhance AI performance.
Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with team members and technical staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in roles such as Shipping Clerk, Receiver, or Order Fulfillment Specialist.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with digital platforms and inventory management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Enthusiasm for sharing expertise to support AI development and data annotation tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience collaborating with technical or product teams.
Familiarity with AI systems, data labeling, or machine learning projects.
Background in process improvement initiatives within shipping or logistics settings.
