About This Role
We’re looking for a creative and strategic Freelance Short Form Video Editor who lives and breathes social media. You’ll be responsible for editing engaging, high-performing content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who understands internet culture, trends, and what actually stops the scroll.
What You’ll Do:
- Edit short-form content optimized for social media
- Transform long-form content into bite-sized, attention-grabbing clips
- Add dynamic captions, sfx, memes, and motion graphics that enhance storytelling and retention
- Stay on top of platform trends and apply them to content in real-time
- Deliver assets formatted and optimized for each platform
Who You Are:
- Proven experience editing viral short-form videos (please share your portfolio)
- Deep knowledge of platform-specific best practices (hooks, pacing, caption styles, audio trends)
- Proficiency in editing software
- Strong storytelling instincts and an eye for internet culture
- Reliable, communicative, and able to hit tight turnaround times
