Position Overview

We are hiring a highly skilled SOA Administrator to support and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware infrastructure across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle SOA Suite 12c, OSB, and WebLogic, along with a proactive approach to system health, security, and performance optimization. This role also involves supporting the customer’s strategic migration from SOA to Dell Boomi, making prior experience or familiarity with iPaaS platforms a strong plus.

This is a remote role and offers a unique opportunity to work with enterprise systems and next-gen integration platforms in a dynamic, global environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Oracle SOA Suite 12c, Oracle OSB 12c, and Oracle WebLogic Server across production, development, and staging environments.

  • Install, configure, and manage WebLogic domains, clusters, managed servers, and node managers.

  • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot SOA composites and OSB services using Enterprise Manager (EM Console).

  • Perform daily middleware health checks, log monitoring, issue resolution, and performance tuning.

  • Configure and manage JDBC data sources, connection pools, horizontal/vertical clusters for high availability.

  • Integrate Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) and Apache with WebLogic for secure routing and communication.

  • Handle SSL certificate configuration and renewal on WebLogic and SOA servers.

  • Support production deployments, Sev-12 incident resolutions, and month-end release activities.

  • Collaborate with L2 support teams and developers for issue triage and root cause analysis.

  • Work closely with developers during deployment cycles to ensure successful application rollouts.

  • Coordinate patching activities including Oracle Fusion Middleware CPU patching.

  • Automate routine tasks using WLST scripts and WebLogic utilities (Deployer/Admin).

  • Utilize monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.

  • Provide support during the upcoming migration from Oracle SOA to Dell Boomi (iPaaS); knowledge of AtomSphere is a plus.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle SOA Suite 12c, OSB, WebLogic Server, and OHS administration.

  • Strong understanding of deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting of JAR/WAR/EAR/composite applications.

  • Experience in performance tuning, JVM monitoring, and thread/heap dump analysis.

  • Proficiency in configuring ESS jobs, adapters, and data source tuning.

  • Familiarity with shell scripting, WLST, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Exposure to Oracle DB 12c/19c for integration-related activities.

  • Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Dell Boomi or other iPaaS platforms and prior involvement in SOA to Boomi migration.

  • OCI Certified Foundation Associate.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
