Location: Flexible (Carlsbad, CA) This role offers the flexibility to work from home, within proximity to this office location.

The Role

GoPro’s award-winning social presence serves 50+ million followers daily—a force for positivity that celebrates all things awesome and inspires people to pursue their passions.

As a part of this team, you will directly influence the day-to-day success of GoPro’s social media and influencer marketing efforts.

In this role, you will communicate with fans on behalf of a global brand, inform business leaders, build and maintain relationships with influential online personalities, and assist with paid and organic social strategies.

You will also manage dynamic processes for GoPro’s growing testimonial marketing initiative and content licensing program.

What You Will Do

  • Grow the brand’s community management presence, representing GoPro’s tone of voice in engagements with fans, professional athletes, and creators around the world. Interpret broad sentiment and convey relevant learnings that inform PR and product decisions
  • Own and create relationships with brand advocates that translate to business value and makes our community an authentic family
  • Partner with our Performance Marketing team to manage and optimize the day-to-day process of GoPro’s growing testimonial marketing initiative, including influencer communications, payments, etc.
  • Manage the implementation of GoPro’s content licensing program, “GoPro Awards”
  • Assist the Social Team in content ideation and strategy

Skills We’re Excited About

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, relevant administrative tasks, and/or social marketing with a track record of ownership, independence, and communication-based responsibilities
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills
  • Notably organized and analytical with an attention for detail
  • A passion for social media

Bonus Points For

  • An understanding of social reporting metrics
  • Experience publishing or community managing with an enterprise social tool
  • Baseline familiarity with, or intimate knowledge of action sports, and/or videography
  • Experience in the consumer electronics space
  • A creative eye for content and a finger-on-the-pulse of social trends
