Job Title: Software Development Staff Engineer
Job Location: 475 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Design, write, and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our AWS platform; Manage end-to-end availability and performance of mission critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Build automated responses for non-exceptional service conditions; Assist in building out the DevOps strategy for hosting and managing our data analytics platforms in AWS cloud; Strong track record of design/implementing cloud infrastructure solutions on distributed computing platforms in large enterprises where scale and complexity have been tackled; Proven experience participating in agile development projects for enterprise-level systems component design and implementation; and, Deep understanding and application of enterprise software design for implementation of data services and middleware. Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Development Staff Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Experience conducting data analysis within a credit environment, demonstrating a strong ability to interpret financial data and credit risk.
- Experience in API and middle-tier development, with a focus on utilizing Ruby and ASP.Net Core/C#.
- Experience in Cloud Technologies, specifically, AWS, showcasing skills in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions.
- Experience in multiple programming languages, tools, and technologies, including Ruby, Python, Go, and other scripting languages.
- Experience with database design and management, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Experience in automation tools and technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet, demonstrating the ability to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Experience with Redis and MemCached for caching solutions, alongside proficiency in Sidekiq for asynchronous job queuing, significantly enhancing application performance.
Additional Information
