Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant work experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and ideally Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS
- Ability to collaboratively drive a project from design to operation independently
- People skills to solicit org-wide feedback from other engineers to identify the best solutions for all
- Proven skills in building secure, reliable platforms and complex modern web applications
- A firm belief in developing a top-tier platform that enables engineers to deploy swiftly and with assurance

Responsibilities
- Enhance developer productivity by identifying and abstracting common functionalities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, design, develop, and implement best practices for platform engineering
- Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks that our systems may encounter
- Maintain an unwavering focus on securing sensitive data, and ensure the reliability and performance of the platform
- Monitor, tune, and improve application performance
- Take ownership of projects from inception to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
- Develop new services and enhance our existing system to accommodate new products
- Improve platform resilience and efficiency, especially in a fast-paced environment
