Summary
Uptalent.io is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Structural Design Engineer to join their team. The engineer will design various types of structures, analyze load resisting systems, coordinate drawings with other disciplines, respond to RFI's, and review shop drawings. A master's degree or 5-year equivalent in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering is required, along with excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or 5 year equivalent degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
- Good structure behavior intuition
Responsibilities
- Design structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood, and glass structures
- Analyze gravity and lateral load resisting systems
- Design and detail structural elements
- Create drawings and communicate with Drafting and BIM Department
- Coordinate drawings with other disciplines (Architects, MEP Engineers, etc.)
- Respond to RFI’s and review shop drawings
