We’re looking for a Talent Management Specialist who will act as a trusted advocate for our Smashers, ensuring they thrive both personally and professionally.
The Role
As a Talent Management Specialist, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the employee experience, fostering growth, and building a culture that empowers people to do their best work. You’ll blend data, empathy, and strategy to support our Smashers and our admin team in a high-impact, human-centered role.
What You’ll Do
- Act as an advocate for our Smashers—building strong relationships and representing their needs across the business.
- Conduct compensation analysis and help define internal equity.
- Track active projects and needs of Smashers to ensure alignment with client expectations and individual success.
- Build and maintain a competitor benchmark for benefits and compensation strategies.
- Identify and report on flight risks, proactively working to improve engagement and retention.
- Organize team-building activities and help shape our company culture.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with managers (via video when possible) to assess performance and identify growth areas.
- Design and manage quarterly training events for Smashers across disciplines.
- Create and maintain reports that uncover opportunities for improvement (radar/opportunity reports).
- Build a detailed catalog of our Smashers, documenting skills, roles, and strengths to better support internal visibility and growth planning.
- Support the development and maintenance of our candidates catalog.
- Standardize and organize Smashers’ role profiles, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization.
- Develop training opportunities for the administrative team based on organizational needs.
- Support the administrative team’s activities (recruiting, client management, HR operations) when extra help is needed.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in Talent Management, People Operations, or HR Business Partner roles is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a sincere passion for people and culture.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and facilitate strategic conversations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills with experience building systems and processes from scratch.
- Nice to have: Background in tech, project management, or experience as a Scrum Master or PM.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, and basic analytics/reporting platforms.
