You will guide prospects through technical discovery, solution configuration, and evaluation of Moodle’s LMS, helping them understand how our platform can meet their strategic goals in higher education, corporate learning, and public sector training.

What You’ll Do

Understanding Client Needs

  • Conduct detailed discovery with prospective clients to understand their learning and development goals.

Identify challenges in current learning systems and position Moodle’s LMS as a tailored solution.

  • Analyse integration, compliance, content, and learner experience needs to align solutions with customer priorities.

Solution Design & Configuration

  • Design and configure sandbox environments and customized pilots to simulate real-world usage.
  • Tailor themes, course structures, and workflows to client use cases.
  • Advise on integrations such as SSO, SCORM/xAPI content ingestion, and HRIS or SIS connectors.

Demonstrations & Evaluations

  • Deliver live and asynchronous product demonstrations that speak directly to the prospect’s objectives.
  • Lead pre-sales programs including sandbox setup, usage monitoring, and success metrics review.
  • Respond to technical sections of RFPs/RFIs with clear, accurate, and persuasive documentation.

Sales Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to increase win rates.
  • Support internal sales enablement with platform expertise and competitive positioning insights.
  • Participate in deal strategy sessions and collaborate with marketing, product, and solutions teams.

Industry Awareness & Feedback

  • Maintain expertise in LMS technologies, including open-source trends and SCORM/xAPI/LTI standards.
  • Monitor market and competitor developments, sharing key insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to product feedback loops, influencing roadmap and improving demo effectiveness.

We’d love to meet you

Especially if you can tell us about your:

  • Hands-on experience configuring and customizing LMS platforms for demos and sandbox environments.
  • Solid understanding of LMS core features: course management, plugin use, reporting, user permissions, etc.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and API-based integrations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS sales cycles, RFP processes, and evaluation support.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A solution oriented mindset

  • Working knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, LTI, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1, Section 508).
  • Experience in the higher education, public sector, or corporate learning environments.
  • Experience integrating LMS with SIS, HRIS, or talent platforms.
  • Familiarity with pilot structuring, usage analytics, and storytelling in demo environments.
