Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Development Lead to drive the development, security, and optimization of our digital ecosystem, primarily built on .NET Framework. This role will be responsible for leading a team of Web developers, managing system architecture, overseeing infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration of various systems such as our Digital Asset Management (DAM). The successful candidate will play a key role in system design/development, technical aspect of the project, CI/CD optimization, and incident management while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve commercial KPIs.

Web Design, Development & Security

  • Lead the development, deployment, and security of the company ecommerce website and booking engine with feature enhancements as well as bug fixes.
  • Define and implement best practices for system development, integrations, and security protocols.
  • Drive development, system upgrades and system assessments to ensure performance and stability.
  • Maintain and optimize system scalability, availability, and efficiency.
  • Supervise and review a development team to ensure the delivery of changes in timely manner and make sure coding quality is comply with security standards.

Web Architecture & Infrastructure

  • Design, manage, and optimize system architecture for seamless web and mobile integrations.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of application infrastructure.
  • Oversee security and compliance of all the systems.

Team & System Management

  • Lead and mentor a small team of .NET developers across global business units.
  • Manage external system providing eg. CDN, DevOps, cloud hosting (Azure), and infrastructure support.
  • Collaborate with external and internal development teams for product feature delivery.
  • Act as the main technical escalation point for high-alert incident management.

Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

  • Lead ongoing CI/CD pipeline optimization for enhanced deployment efficiency.
  • Implement automation and performance monitoring improvements.
  • Incorporate coding AI practices into developer workflows

Minor Hotels Systems & Integrations

  • Support and develop Minor Hotels IBE (Internet Booking Engine).
  • Act as the go-to technical lead for integrations between Minor Hotels systems relating to the eCommerce website, and mobile applications.

Commercial & Business Focus

  • Work closely with product owners, marketing, and business teams to align technology with commercial goals.
  • Optimize website performance, revenue, and conversion rate through technical enhancements.
  • Ensure site stability and high uptime to support business operations.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technical leadership, development, or software engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET development and Web architecture.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, cloud hosting (Azure), and DevOps best practices.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional and remote development teams.
  • Strong understanding of web performance, security, and infrastructure management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing high-alert technology incidents.
  • Business acumen with a focus on revenue, user experience, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enterprise CMS certification is a plus. Knowledgeable in CMS applications such as Sitecore, Adobe, Tridion architecture, development, or similar systems.

  • Experience working with global teams and managing large-scale digital platforms.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Platform, modern DevOps tools, microservices architecture, and automation.

  • Experience in using AI assisted coding tools such as cursor, co-pilot or equivalent
