Your Career
NewRocket is looking for a UX/UI Architect to lead, coach, and mentor a team of talented UX/UI Designers who provide the design and UX strategy for our customers. The Senior Lead UX/UI Designer will guide and build successful teams by fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and high-performance. The UX/UI Architect will be responsible for designing and executing a UX Strategy and delivering innovative solutions on complex professional services projects.
Your Impact
- Lead the UX strategy and design process for ServiceNow implementations based on requirements and business objectives (e.g., portals, Now Mobile Apps)
- Design, document and present UX flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation within ServiceNow constraints
- Delivery measurable, positive results within the client and team’s timeline, budget and scope
- Work with product owners and consultants to conduct user research and usability testing
- Champion accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design best practices
- Guide customers through design reviews and UI/UX governance
- Lead workshops with clients, end users and project teams to define system requirements, problems, and goals
- Create and evolve client roadmaps related to end-user experiences
- Help mentor junior designers or front-end developers
Your Experience
8+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in enterprise software or SaaS
ServiceNow experience is highly preferred but not required (Service Portal, Now Mobile, or Employee Center)
Proficient in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how UX maps to ServiceNow’s theming system
Ability to understand platform constraints and creatively work within them
Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies
Excellent communication facilitation, and presentation skills and stakeholder management skills
Ability to assess and mitigate risk
Thrives in dynamic, quickly evolving environments
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field or demonstrated work experience
