About This Opportunity:

The Vice President of Global Business Development will lead and grow Docebo’s high-performing team of Business/Account Development Representatives (BDRs) across North America and EMEA. This role focuses on driving pipeline growth, market expansion, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives on a global scale. The VP will oversee strategy development, team performance, and the mentorship of regional leadership, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. By leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration, this leader will play a pivotal role in optimizing market penetration and accelerating business growth worldwide.

  • Build and scale high-performing BD, AD and Inside Sales teams globally,  in key regions, to drive pipeline growth and market expansion.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for global teams, regularly evaluating performance and providing constructive feedback to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive global team culture that promotes creativity, innovation, and accountability across all organizational levels.
  • Develop and implement structured career paths for teams worldwide, partnering with enablement and regional leadership to support professional growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales, to align global business development strategies with overall company goals and maximize market penetration.
  • Oversee and maintain accurate sales forecasts and performance metrics across regions, using data-driven insights to measure progress and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze global sales data and market trends to refine strategies, optimize team performance, and recommend actionable solutions to leadership.
  • Develop and manage budgets for global business development initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve objectives.
  • Present regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management, leveraging insights to support decision-making and drive global business growth.

What it takes to be successful:

  • To thrive in this role, you must be a proactive and results-driven leader with exceptional mentorship skills and a proven ability to develop talent on a global scale. A deep understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and business development strategies is essential. The ideal candidate will excel in fostering collaboration across teams and regions, using data to inform decision-making, and driving continuous improvement. A commitment to building a strong global team culture and providing clear career development paths is critical to success.

Education and Experience:

  • 14+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on mentorship and career progression.
  • Strong track record of driving pipeline growth and developing successful go-to-market strategies across regions.
  • Experience managing and mentoring sales leaders in international markets such as EMEA.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in using sales tools and CRM platforms to drive results.
