Are you a seasoned litigation paralegal with experience across multiple areas of law? Equivity is seeking a highly skilled virtual paralegal to assist attorneys in diverse litigation matters, including employment disputes, business litigation, contract claims, and state and federal civil matters. If you’re an independent worker with strong drafting and case management skills, this is your chance to join a growing virtual team supporting clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and correspondence.

  • Organize and manage complex litigation files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and current.

  • Prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, including exhibit lists and witness coordination.

  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court staff.

  • Maintain deadlines, manage calendars, and handle scheduling for attorneys.

  • Collaborate with a remote legal team to ensure smooth workflow and case progress.

  • Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients during standard business hours (9 AM – 6 PM)

About You:

  • 3+ years of recent paralegal experience supporting attorneys in litigation, with exposure to multiple practice areas such as employment law, business/commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and federal civil matters.

  • Strong drafting skills and proficiency in managing discovery and pre-trial preparation.

  • Experience in both state and federal litigation, including familiarity with e-filing platforms (e.g., CM/ECF, state court portals).

  • Experience with Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is a plus.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, legal research tools, and video conferencing platforms.

  • Familiarity with case management software such as Clio, MyCase, or similar.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and skilled at managing multiple deadlines independently.

  • Must have a Windows-based laptop, broadband internet, and a smartphone. (MacOS not supported.)

  • Must have a quiet, professional setting for phone or Zoom meetings.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum 3 years of recent litigation paralegal experience.

  • Availability to respond to client requests within one hour, Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM

  • Ability to work 20–40 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
