Summary
The job description is for a Full-Stack Web Developer at SEO Sherpa. Requirements
- Verifiable, proven track record of customizing, updating, and maintaining web-standard CMSs like WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, and others
- Knowledge of backend and frontend technologies and experience working with Javascript frontend frameworks/SPAs and other emerging technologies
- Ability to create well-documented, reusable code for website improvements, custom theme development, plugin creation, and automation
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute delivery of website improvements and updates
- Execute tasks such as speed optimization, user experience improvements, custom tracking scripts, and landing page builds
- Integrate closely with the SEO and paid search teams by implementing performance recommendations on client’s websites
- Deploy technical improvements and customizations on various content management systems, including but not limited to WordPress, Shopify, Magento, and custom builds
- Track and fix issues as they arise to maintain optimum site health

- Keeping up with SEO fundamentals and trends
- Effective communication style in emails, Slack messages, or sharing recommendations with a client
- Sharing strategic opinions and recommendations
- Superior problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex problems and translate them into actionable solutions
