The Opportunity

Abnormal is where you do the most exciting work of your career. Because here, you are building the future of cybersecurity.

We’re hiring a Product Manager 2 to drive an exciting new product line—a critical expansion of our AI-native platform trusted by over 20% of the Fortune 500. Your mission: help enterprises address emerging security challenges that traditional tools can’t solve, working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real customer pain points.

This role puts you on the frontlines of Protect What’s Next. You’ll design systems that detect threats others can’t see, partner with engineers and designers to ship innovative features at scale, and work with GTM teams to establish new market categories. And you’ll do it in a company where AI is the foundation, not an afterthought.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive product definition and strategy: Build 9-month roadmaps for moderately complex product surface areas within this new line, contributing to divisional strategy and GTM tactics
  • Pioneer solution development: Identify emerging security challenges, analyze market gaps, and translate cutting-edge research into clear product requirements and outcomes
  • Execute with velocity: Drive end-to-end product definition process from problem identification to signed-off PRDs, ensuring high-quality feature delivery for novel use cases
  • Leverage AI-native workflows: Use Claude, ChatGPT, v0, and rapid prototyping tools daily to accelerate research, documentation, and concept validation
  • Design for innovation: Turn complex technical security concepts into intuitive product experiences for both practitioners and executives
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration: Partner effectively with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver measurable customer value in an emerging space
  • Support market development: Contribute to messaging, create educational content, and participate in customer conversations as a domain expert
  • Drive continuous improvement: Measure feature adoption, gather user feedback, and iterate based on data-driven insights in a rapidly evolving landscape

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • 4+ years of B2B SaaS product management experience with technical products
  • Demonstrated experience driving product definition and roadmap planning for moderately complex product areas
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineering, design, and GTM teams
  • Proficiency with AI-driven tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for daily productivity and decision-making
  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools (v0, Figma) to validate concepts quickly
  • Customer-focused mindset with ability to translate feedback into product decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured approach to ambiguous challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or emerging technology domains
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and complex technical integrations
  • Startup experience in high-growth environments building new product categories
  • Software engineering background with technical depth
  • Experience with platform features used by internal teams and external customers
  • SQL or data analysis skills for product insights and optimization

How We Work

At Abnormal, PMs are trusted to lead in the Age of AI. That means:

  • Using AI tools to accelerate discovery, research, and documentation
  • Prototyping and experimenting before writing specs
  • Taking ownership of outcomes with clear success metrics
  • Leading through influence across functions
  • Staying close to customers and deeply understanding problems

You’ll contribute to building playbooks while executing with excellence. Growth comes from consistent delivery and expanding scope of ownership in this exciting new domain.
