Callibrity is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is hybrid and only candidates within commuting distance to Cincinnati will be considered.

Callibrity is a developer owned and managed custom software development consulting company that is dedicated to creating quality software using modern technologies and adding unquestionable business value to companies across multiple industries and verticals. We are problem solvers…people who like a challenge and enjoy working with modern tech stacks. We offer an incredibly collaborative culture and enjoy solving complex problems with our clients.

We are currently seeking an Associate Technical Business Analyst to join our team, with a focus on driving technical clarity, process improvement, and collaboration within the Producer domain. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical aptitude with excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to challenge the status quo.

Callibrity Technical Business Analyst:

  • Work directly with key stakeholders at our clients to accomplish shared goals
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new technologies
  • Thrive in an environment where there is close interaction among different roles and teams
  • Are admired by the client as someone they can count on, regardless of title or seniority
  • Act as a technical business analyst, not focused on front-end systems but with a deep understanding of data and backend technical processes.
  • Perform hands-on data analysis, including querying and interpreting complex data using SQL.
  • Understand and document data flows, and business rules at the data level.
  • Utilize tools such as Postman to explore and run API payloads.
  • Support QA by analyzing and comparing payloads (payload diffing) and ensuring requirements are testable.
  • Step into a pseudo-Product Owner role when needed, advocating for business priorities and clarifying requirements.
  • Foster and support a collaborative culture, bringing energy, accountability, and innovation to the team.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong command of SQL and experience working directly with data systems and flows.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Postman for API interaction.
  • Proven experience in documenting business rules at a granular level.
  • Demonstrated ability to support QA teams through requirement validation and data verification.
  • Assertive and proactive communicator — not afraid to challenge norms and propose improvements.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, QA, and external vendors.
  • Ability to quickly understand domain complexity and align efforts to broader business and technical goals.
  • Hybrid Schedule (local to Cincinnati, OH)

Benefits of Being a Callibrity Consultant:

  • As a consultant, you’re trusted as an advisor — clients look to you not just for implementation, but for guidance, strategic thinking, and leadership.
  • Being associated with Callibrity means working with a brand known for delivery excellence, transparency, and results.
  • Competitive Pay: $50-$55/hr
  • Potential to Convert: Strong possibility for full-time hire (will start as a 1099 or W-2 temp)
  • Impactful Work: Help drive application best practices in a respected organization
