Founder’s Associate (m/f/d)

Join cargo.one’s CEO Office as a Founder’s Associate and work side by side with our founders and leaders on the projects that shape the future of the company. This is a high impact role where you’ll gain a front-row seat to building and scaling a VC-backed SaaS marketplace, while tackling challenges that cut across strategy and operations in all domains of the business. This opportunity is for a builder - someone who is comfortable with the unknown and ambiguity, can make things happen and values impact.
Think of this role as a career accelerator: you’ll be trusted with meaningful responsibility, develop the problem-solving and operating skills of a founder, and graduate with a toolkit to build your own company or take on impactful positions at cargo.one.
You will join a massively international team, with 110 Cargonauts of 40 nationalities working across 23 countries in a fully remote set up. This is a unique, entrepreneurial opportunity to be driving the digitalization of the global $182bn air freight and logistics market in a fast-growing Series B company backed by leading Venture Capital firms including Index and Bessemer.

In Berlin? You are welcome to join us at our Moritzplatz office. Elsewhere? You can work from home or a local coworking space via our partner and we will fly you in for regular company offsites. 🎬 What You’ll Be Doing
Work directly with founders and senior leaders on high-priority initiatives, from investor or key client materials, to new business bets, to architecting and engineering improvements to our remote operating system that brings all 110 Cargonauts across the world together, virtually and in person.
Work on multiple projects in parallel that require you to adapt, build relationships and deliver across multiple functions
Scope and deliver projects across functions - from product, sales and partnerships to people and finance
Build relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders
Design and improve operating processes and systems that help us scale globally
Identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making through data analysis, research, and crisp storytelling
Jump into whatever challenge is most pressing — no two weeks will look the same
🕵 Who We’re Looking For
3–6 years of professional experience in a high-performance environment (consulting, VC, start-up, or banking)
Track record of being a top performer in several different areas with a reputation for getting things done to a high standard
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with Excel and data-driven decision making
A bias for action - you take ownership and make things happen even in ambiguity
Strong communication and presentation skills, able to distill complex topics into simple narratives and general concepts into compelling storylines.
Curiosity and adaptability; you thrive on learning fast and switching contexts
Low ego, high output - motivated by impact, not optics
