Our client operates three related businesses that focus on sourcing, importing, and manufacturing products for consumer and construction markets.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and general administrative tasks. This role will allow the business owner to focus on higher-level operations by taking ownership of financial tracking and supporting administrative needs.

This is a remote position, ideal for someone with accounting/bookkeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to take initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting Support

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Online.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately.
  • Prepare basic financial reports as requested.
  • Ensure timely input of invoices, expenses, and payments.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
  • Organize and maintain digital records and documentation.
  • Support other operational needs to help the business run efficiently.

General Responsibilities

  • Work independently with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

  • Communicate clearly in English with the business owner and team.

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or other bookkeeping software.

  • Basic accounting/bookkeeping training or certification preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).

  • Highly reliable and trustworthy.

  • Comfortable managing multiple small businesses simultaneously.

  • Willing to take ownership of bookkeeping and administrative tasks to free up the owner’s time.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a strong work ethic.

  • Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.

  • Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.

  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
