Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

As a PR Manager, you will be responsible for building, managing, and protecting the companyโ€™s brand reputation through effective communication strategies, media relations, and public engagement. The PR Manager is also responsible for developing publicity strategies for different situations like company expansion and charitable initiatives. This role plays a critical part in shaping how customers, partners, and stakeholders perceive our company in the digital marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Creating and managing a PR Plan which includes budgets and timelines
  • Manage media relations by building and maintaining strong relationships with media, influencers, bloggers, and other industry stakeholders
  • Write and distribute press releases, media kits, newsletter, and other PR materials
  • Monitor media coverage and provide timely reports on PR activities, brand mentions, and current industry trends
  • Develop and implement publicity strategies for the companyโ€™s products, including a crisis management strategy
  • Handle crisis communication and reputational risk management
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Social Media teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across campaigns and platforms
  • Analyze all media coverage of the company and draft appropriate responses
  • Plan and execute PR activities like product launches, brand partnerships, and media briefings
  • Support leadership team with communication materials, speeches, and talking points for public appearances or interviews
  • Track PR performance metrics (reach, management, sentiment, ROI) and recommend improvements

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fields
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in PR, preferably in an e-commerce company
  • Strong media network and proven track record in securing press coverage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Superior customer relationship management skills
  • Excellent creative writing skills
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver
  • Has an in-depth knowledge of industry best practices and trends
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great skills in crafting compelling stories and messaging aligned with brand objectives
  • Skilled in crisis management and handling sensitive information
  • Familiarity with social media, influencer marketing, and digital PR tools
  • Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with leadership potential
