Position Summary

As a Flexibility Products Manager, you will be exposed to the international Digital Insurance and Fintech added-value services ecosystem within a fast-paced, data-driven technology organization.

Your main responsibilities will be to own and evolve a portfolio of flexibility-related products (such as ticket change products and cancellation options), drive commercial outcomes and customer value, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. You will lead product discovery, manage delivery roadmaps, monitor product performance, and shape our go-to-market strategies.

This role is ideal for someone who brings a strong product mindset, a deep understanding of airline fare structures and booking systems, and a passion for solving real user problems with scalable solutions. The ideal candidate must have a 360° view combining travel and fintech understanding, a problem-solving attitude, and a customer-first approach, while being up to date with regulatory trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Become the relevant market expert with respect to digital insurance and fintech products including regulatory implications and best practices.

  • Perform fintech products/solutions’ evaluation processes, including new providers and expected impact by formulating business cases under a number-driven and multifaceted approach including economics, customer experience, performance, and strategic focus.

  • Monitor and assess competition on partner, market, and product levels and assess the company’s competitiveness from an offering perspective.

  • Define the business requirements for the implementation of new products, ensuring clear guidelines towards the involved cross-functional leads including development.

  • Project manage fintech products’ onboarding, ensuring business alignment amongst functions, and coordinate internal and external partners to ensure smooth transition.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data, and design to define product backlogs and deliver continuous improvements based on data and user feedback.

  • Maintain top responsibility for operational and financial product performance. Define financial objectives and KPIs and ensure that analytics are implemented and that dashboards reflect the expected information.

  • Manage communications with existing partners on operational and product aspects. Attend QBRs to stay up to date with new products and opportunities and drive deriving action plans.

  • Support RFPs for new partners under a well-organized approach to assess their fit with ETG’s needs and tech ecosystem.

  • Be up to date with market trends in the fintech and travel-tech industry to be able to propose new initiatives/innovative solutions with high impact.

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or a commercial/business development role within a fast-paced, growth-oriented digital company, preferably in travel or airline ecosystems.

  • Proven track record of delivering or scaling products, with strong knowledge of airline booking flows, fare structures (GDS/NDC), and ancillary services.

  • Experience with flexibility-related products (e.g., ticket changes, fare holds, cancellations) is a strong plus.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build business cases, interpret large datasets, and make data-driven decisions – essential.

  • Ability to independently navigate through complexities and provide clarity to a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve commitment towards results.

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics or equivalent

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; capable of managing multiple projects independently and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English; able to navigate complexity and align cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively, take ownership, and pay close attention to detail.

  • Experience in partner management and working in multicultural, international settings.
