About the Role
Henry Schein One is transforming the future of dental technology — and we’re looking for a proven strategic leader to help shape what’s next. As our Director of Strategy & Business Development, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Chief Strategy Officer to define, drive, and deliver initiatives that fuel our growth and profitability. This is not a “back-office strategy” role — it’s a high-visibility, hands-on leadership position where you’ll own high-impact projects from concept to execution, influence senior decision-makers, and help steer the future of the business.
What You’ll Do
- Shape the Strategic Roadmap: Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer to define and execute Henry Schein One’s long-term growth strategy, aligning initiatives with business priorities and market opportunities.
- Own High-Impact Projects: Independently lead initiatives such as market analysis, competitive intelligence, business case development, M&A sourcing, due diligence, negotiation support, and post-deal integration.
- Tell the Story Behind the Strategy: Translate complex insights into clear, persuasive narratives for the CEO, Board of Directors, and shareholders — driving alignment, investment, and action.
- Deliver Executive-Ready Work: Create compelling presentations and strategic frameworks that combine data, visuals, and storytelling to influence key business decisions.
- Drive Operational & Financial Impact: Identify, evaluate, and execute initiatives that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer impact across the organization.
- Build Influence Across the Business: Establish trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align priorities, remove barriers, and deliver results.
- Be Hands-On: Roll up your sleeves — from building models to crafting board decks — ensuring speed, precision, and excellence in delivery.
What You’ll Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Strategy, Finance, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or a high-performance operating environment.
- Proven track record of leading and executing end-to-end strategic projects with measurable results.
- Expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and market analysis.
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, pricing strategies, and recurring revenue models.
- Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and communication skills — able to distill complexity into clarity for executives, boards, and investors.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfortable with building financial models and creating executive-ready presentations.
- Experience in healthcare or dental technology is a plus.

Travel / Work Environment
Travel less than 10%.
The posted range for this position is $134,667 - $191,092 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
