Accounting Associate | Finance Team (Remote โ Argentina & Uruguay only)
About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Accounting Associate to join our client’s Accounting team in the real estate sector.
The primary focus of this position is to support the month-end close process, perform critical account reconciliations, and ensure accurate revenue accounting, primarily related to brokerage transactions across various markets.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys analytical challenges, and consistently meets deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Review and validate revenue and expense recognition for brokerage transactions.
Reconcile and investigate outstanding accounts receivable and key balance sheet accounts.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Participate in the monthly close and audit processes.
Evaluate and support process optimization and internal control improvements.
Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial analysis and reports.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit and accounting requirements.
Assist with business-critical special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1โ3 years of accounting experience (Big 4 experience preferred).
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus).
Basic understanding of brokerage or residential real estate, a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
English proficiency required.
