Job Description

In this role, you’ll turn Anaplan into the engine that powers faster, smarter decisions. By owning the platform, automating data flows, and embedding best-practice processes, you’ll eliminate manual pain points and give the business a single source of truth for planning and reporting.

What you’ll do

  • Own the Anaplan roadmap—from model architecture to performance tuning and best-practice design.
  • Automate and integrate data flows across GL, HR, Salesforce, and FinancialForce, building reliable, scalable pipelines.
  • Streamline planning with validation rules, reconciliations, and automated refreshes/alerts.
  • Enable driver-based forecasting across margin, opex, cash, and funnel metrics.
  • Build a scenario library (pricing, incentives, churn, productivity) with plug-and-play sensitivity toggles.
  • Raise the bar on governance—templates, peer reviews, and monitoring for audit-ready models.
  • Upskill and enable the business with training, playbooks, and knowledge transfer.
  • Push boundaries with AI, piloting tools to speed up documentation, testing, and reconciliation.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • 6–10+ years building and scaling enterprise planning platforms, with deep hands-on Anaplan expertise (Model Builder/Architect level).
  • Proven strength in data integration and automation—designing source-to-Anaplan pipelines, reconciliations, and workflows.
  • A track record of driving change with strong documentation discipline and process ownership.
  • Finance fluency: driver-based P&L, cash forecasting, pricing/incentives, and cohort modelling.
  • Comfort across modern tooling: Anaplan, AI accelerators, and BI platforms (e.g. Power BI) for self-serve insights.
  • A crisp communicator and coach, able to guide analysts and influence Finance, Data, and Operations stakeholders.
