We are seeking a Director of Web Operations & Delivery to lead the execution, quality, and delivery of all web development projects across our brands including Search Atlas and LinkGraph, as well as for our clients. This role is not for a developer but for someone experienced in running delivery teams, managing timelines, and ensuring quality communication with clients and stakeholders. You will be accountable for the success of each project, ensuring there are no bugs, errors, or sloppy execution.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days):
- All projects ship with formal QA sign-off.
- Clear ownership assigned to every web project.
- Improvement in on-time delivery and reduced need for revisions.
- Developers understand project completion definitions.
- Restored client trust in timelines and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery Ownership & Accountability:
- Own final approval for all web launches (internal and client-facing).
- Ensure quality standards are met prior to shipping.
- Implement “two sets of eyes” QA process to prevent recurring issues.
- Project & Program Management:
- Oversee multiple web projects, maintaining timelines and capacity plans.
- Identify and resolve blockers early to prevent deadline slips.
- Balance internal roadmaps with client commitments.
- Team Management & Performance:
- Set clear expectations and maintain accountability for developers.
- Identify and address performance issues.
- Collaborate with leadership on team structure and hiring.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary contact for web project delivery.
- Translate client needs into actionable tasks and set realistic timelines.
- Proactively address risks, delays, or tradeoffs.
- Process, QA, & Systems:
- Establish standardized workflows for web delivery.
- Implement QA checklists and improve documentation.
- Ensure visibility and accountability through tools like ClickUp.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years managing web delivery, digital projects, or agency operations.
- Proven experience overseeing internal and client-facing projects.
- Strong QA mindset and detail orientation.
- Comfort in enforcing high standards.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in agency, SaaS, or high-volume digital delivery environments.
- Familiarity with tools like ClickUp, Jira, or Asana.
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams.

Salary & Benefits
- $28-35 an hour
- 15 Days Paid Time Off + Christmas Day + New Year’s Day Paid Off
