Role - Salesforce Architect (Manufacturing Domain)

Location - North Wales, PA 19454

Working Model - Onsite - Hybrid

Job Overview:

  • Architecture & Solution Design Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across Manufacturing Cloud, CPQ/RCA, and B2B Commerce. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures integrating Salesforce with ERP, OMS, PLM, Data Lakes, and third-party applications. Ensure solutions follow Salesforce Well-Architected Framework and best practices for multi-cloud deployments.
  • Technical Leadership Act as the technical authority for Salesforce implementationsโ€”guiding developers, admins, and integration specialists. Provide hands-on development guidance for complex Apex, LWC, flows, API integrations, and custom data models. Review and approve technical designs, integration patterns, and data migration strategies.
  • Manufacturing Cloud Expertise Lead configuration and customization of Manufacturing Cloud features including Sales Agreements, Account-Based Forecasting, and Program Management. Design data models and process flows for manufacturing-specific scenarios such as channel sales, supply chain planning, and partner collaboration.
  • Revenue Cloud (CPQ/RCA) Expertise Architect complex product configuration models, pricing rules, discounting strategies, and approval workflows. Oversee migration strategies from legacy CPQ tools to Salesforce CPQ/RCA. Optimize performance for large data volumes and high transaction loads.
  • B2B Commerce Expertise Design B2B Commerce storefronts with optimized product catalogs, pricing, account hierarchies, and self-service order management. Integrate commerce processes with CPQ and ERP for end-to-end quote-to-cash automation.
  • Stakeholder & Client Engagement Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs. Present architecture solutions to executives, technical teams, and business sponsors. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on Salesforce roadmaps and ROI.
  • Governance & Quality Establish coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing industries.

Qualifications

Must have skills:

Salesforce Manufacturing domain, CPQ (Minimum 3-4 project execution)

Good to have:

Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud, RCA (Minimum 5-6 months)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in Salesforce architecture, with 5+ years in a lead/architect role.
  • Deep expertise in Manufacturing Cloud, Salesforce CPQ/RCA, and B2B Commerce (3-5 yearsโ€™ experience).
  • Strong Apex, LWC, SOQL, Integration (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft) skills.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP (SAP, Oracle, Infor), OMS, and commerce platforms.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale multi-cloud Salesforce projects.
  • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) โ€“ preferred Manufacturing Cloud Accredited Professional Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist or Revenue Cloud Consultant Salesforce B2B Commerce Developer/Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, performance optimization, and security architecture. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Experience Knowledge of Data Cloud, AI/Einstein, and Tableau CRM for manufacturing analytics. Exposure to industry-specific templates and accelerators for manufacturing.
  • Experience with global deployments and multi-language/multi-currency implementations.
