NICE Actimize is currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join the Actimize Professional Services team at the Global Talent Center in Pune, India. We are looking for a talented and motivated professional experienced in implementing complex on‑premise as well as hosted SaaS Actimize solutions.
You will lead teams responsible for implementation, customization, and configuration of Actimize regulatory compliance offerings. You are someone who is hands-on, enjoys diving deep into intricate code and SQL queries, and thrives in solving complex technical and domain challenges. How will you make an impact?
As a Technical Manager, you will lead a team of highly talented and motivated software engineers while working closely with architects, SMEs, and business analysts. You will leverage the latest Actimize technologies to deliver high‑quality, enterprise‑grade implementation solutions.
With global exposure, you will collaborate with top industry professionals to help banks meet regulatory requirements across AML, financial compliance, and payment fraud domains. Your leadership will directly influence successful customer delivery and solution excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end‑to‑end delivery for successful releases by tracking work items, dependencies, risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure high‑quality engineering practices including writing and executing unit tests, smoke and regression testing, code reviews, and adherence to design standards.
- Facilitate and support team members’ technical and career development through coaching, training, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
- Own individual and team chargeability and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Lead and participate in recruitment and hiring efforts for the Professional Services team.
- Collaborate with R&D, other implementation teams, and customer support to ensure seamless delivery.
- Conduct proactive performance management including periodic 1:1s, feedback discussions, and alignment on career objectives.
- Provide guidance on complex implementation, configuration, and customization activities.
Have you got what it takes?
- 12+ years of experience in software development.
- 2+ years of experience leading high‑performance teams in an Agile-based product implementation environment or L3 services.
- Strong stakeholder management and experience working in an onsite/offshore model.
- Experience with high‑performance, scalable, and highly available systems.
- Hands‑on experience in installation, customization, and configuration of complex on‑prem and/or multi‑tenant SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with private and public cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of database concepts with hands‑on experience in Oracle/SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux with exposure to shell scripting.
- Understanding of standard deployment practices and knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Docker, VMs, Kubernetes, and Artifactory.
- Professional Services experience is a plus.
- Banking/Compliance domain knowledge, especially in AML, IFM, or financial markets compliance, is an added advantage.
