Job description
As a Tax Senior, your key responsibilities will include:
Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate and partnership clients: Serve as the primary point of contact for client requests, ensuring deadlines are consistently met, and that all final submissions uphold the Firm’s high standards of quality.
Handling clients with revenues ranging from $0 to $100M across various industries: This includes sectors such as Tech Start-Ups, Pharmaceuticals, Marketing, Consumer Products, and a particular favorite—French Wine and Desserts.
Reviewing and providing constructive feedback: Ensure timely review of tax returns prepared by Junior Staff, offering clear and actionable guidance.
Mentoring and training Junior Team members: Provide support and deliver training sessions as needed to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Preparation of complex tax returns: This includes handling consolidations and international forms, such as 5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 1042-S, and 114.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (minimum requirement).
3-5 years of experience in tax return preparation with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines or proactively communicate when challenges arise.
Autonomous work style combined with a strong sense of team collaboration.
High standards of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive client information.
Authorization to work in the U.S..
Experience with international tax forms (e.g., 5472, 5471, 8865, 8858) is a valuable asset.
CPA certification in progress or plans to pursue a CPA designation are an advantage.
