Compensation: $85,000-$100,000 AUD

Job Summary:

The Asia Pacific Team is responsible for the delivery and support of the full range of Tessitura Network Products and Services, including all facets of business development activity, technology implementation, support and optimisation, community events and membership retention activities.

The Consultant, Asia Pacific is responsible for supplying essential Tessitura application consulting services to Tessitura users across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring the optimal use of Tessitura Software and products. By meeting Tessitura members on their terms, with a familiarity of their business and knowledge of the software’s capabilities, this role focuses on guiding the adoption and optimal use of Tessitura, specific to each organisation and individual with whom they are engaged. This may include organisations undergoing Tessitura implementation, or those tenured and ready for optimisation. It may also include individuals of varying levels of Tessitura and CRM system experience.

Critical to the success of our team is working to a collaborative member success model, supporting the organisation-wide goal of building Tessitura advocates.

Specific Responsibilities:

Consulting services

  • Provide configuration, training and functional consulting services for projects related to the Tessitura platform
  • Support version and point release upgrades, product migrations, functional and technical consulting projects through the provision of business analysis, and project management
  • Broadly, champion CRM and act as a generalist resource for the breadth of the Tessitura platform, with a view to contextual, enterprise-wide use of the technology
  • Specifically, maintain and build Ticketing subject matter expertise – including but not limited to Tessitura configuration, pricing techniques, package design, ticket delivery, reporting and analytics
  • Ensure all documentation related to projects undertaken is accurate, up to date and readily available
  • Administer the allocation of consulting resources across Asia Pacific team projects and report on monthly consulting resource allocation and income
  • Administer and maintain D365 as it relates to consulting services in the Asia Pacific region

Member success and community

  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with Tessitura members; ensure comprehensive and timely communications with Tessitura members as it relates to projects
  • Support member community and conference activities including planning, content development and presentation

Tessitura technology and business development

  • Contribute to Tessitura technology enhancement through structured feedback on improvements and new functionality requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate project communication and reporting for regional leadership
  • Prepare and deliver content for demonstrations, training sessions, knowledge transfer and member-facing presentations

  • Liaise with global Tessitura divisions to ensure seamless customer service delivery
  • Maintain and improve the Company’s reputation as a leading service provider focused on member needs

  • Advocate for regional member interests and representation at all possible points
  • Understand and actively support Member Health Score initiatives to increase regional Member Health Scores
  • Set high standards of performance, assuming responsibility and accountability for successful task completion
  • Persist in achieving goals despite barriers by adapting strategies and using multiple approaches

As a term of employment, the post holder may be required to undertake such other duties and/or times of work as may reasonably be required commensurate with the general level of responsibility within the Company.

Required skills and experience:

Core qualifications

  • Broad understanding of CRM technology and its application in the arts and cultural sector
  • Experience in an application training, implementation or opimisation role
  • Tessitura experience desired but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively from a home office as part of a global, virtual company

Technical and communication skills

  • Impeccable project documentation capabilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Expertise in explaining technical information to non-technical audiences across organisational levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Travel requirements

  • Ability to travel when projects require it
  • Travel for one week per year to coincide with the regional Tessitura Learning and Community Conference
