We are currently looking for:

Senior QA Engineer

πŸ’‘ Project Description:

In this role, you’ll contribute to a banking app for a leading financial group in Japan. The team is contributing to the fintech project providing loans to funds managed by asset managers. The app is hosted on a stand-alone AWS account. This role involves mostly automation testing.

Requirements

πŸ“ˆ Your Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Daily standups.

  • Design and document test cases using the TestRail test management tool.

  • Contribute to developing new test cases using the custom automation framework with Python and Selenium wrappers. or automated testing.

  • Explore edge cases and user behavior beyond standard test scenarios.

  • Assess backlog items, identify potential risks, and ensure well-defined acceptance criteria.

  • Provide developers with clear, concise, and actionable bug reports.

  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to the team’s testing processes.

πŸ”‘ Key Requirements:

  • Advanced English in speaking and writing (you will be working in an international environment)

  • 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience.

  • Proven experience in test automation with Python and Selenium.

  • Proficiency in test case design using tools like TestRail.

  • Experience in Agile environments, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify edge cases and assess user behavior beyond standard test scenarios.

βž• Nice to have:

  • Commercial experience with PyTest.

  • Experience with performance, integration, and regression testing.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools.

  • Knowledge of REST APIs and web services testing.

  • Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS or Azure.
