MyHeritage is a global platform for family history, founded in 2003. We provide tools for users to build family trees, explore historical records, and use DNA testing services. Our database includes 38.4 billion historical records and 6.8 billion family tree profiles.

With 5.4 million customers, MyHeritage DNA is one of the world’s largest consumer DNA databases, especially popular in Europe for ancestry and genetic testing.

Since 2020, we’ve integrated AI to repair, enhance, colorize, and animate historical photos, including our Deep Nostalgia™ feature. Our platform uses sophisticated matching technologies to help users make discoveries.

In April 2020, we established a COVID-19 laboratory in Israel, commissioned by the Ministries of Health and Defense, which has processed over 5 million tests. We operate in the software development industry, applying bioinformatics, population and statistical genetics, and machine learning in our scientific work.

MyHeritage has about 650 employees and uses a hybrid work model, blending remote work with in-office collaboration.
