No other company in the world provides the same holistic investment offering: our superpower is the combination of human insights and unique investor-led content with a global expert network. We serve over 1,000 investment firms, offering clients 247 coverage through our team of 1,500+ employees located across twelve offices.

Job Description

Are you an HR professional who thrives on coaching leaders and navigating the nuances of performance management? We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to be our “on-the-ground” presence in Dallas.

In this role, you will act as a regional anchor, providing high-touch support to our Dallas office while collaborating virtually to support our teams in California and New York. You will be a vital part of a growing HR structure, serving as the first point of contact for employees and a strategic sounding board for experienced managers.

What You’ll Do

You will operate within a regional model, focusing on providing “definitive” HR support and ensuring consistency across our US offices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performance Management & Coaching: Act as a critical advisor to experienced managers and AVPs. You will “sense-check” Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), provide guidance on performance scrutiny, and coach managers on how to lead these conversations effectively.

  • Regional First Point of Contact: Serve as the primary HR face for our Dallas employees and the initial filter for queries across CA and NY. You’ll leverage our Shared Services team for admin support while you focus on high-judgment advisory.

  • Employee Relations: Act as the first-level filter for ER matters. You will provide general advice and identify complex cases that require escalation to our Senior HRBPs.

  • Acclimation & Onboarding: Lead the onboarding journey for new joiners, ensuring they are integrated into the Third Bridge culture from day one.

  • Self-Service Support: Support the transition to a self-service offboarding model, providing guidance to managers and employees as they navigate the process.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: You are likely an HR professional with some Generalist experience, or a Senior Associate ready to step up. You have a proven track record of working independently in a satellite office.

  • Performance Management Expertise: You have a deep understanding of the PIP process. You aren’t just a “task-doer”; you have the judgment to review documents and prepare managers for successful delivery.

  • Multi-State Legal Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of California employment law. You understand the nuances between Texas and West/East Coast regulations.

  • The “Coach” Mindset: You believe in strengthening managers. You have the emotional intelligence to challenge managers constructively - not just police them - and the judgment to know when to escalate a situation.

  • Proactive Independence: As the sole HRBP team member in Dallas, you are comfortable working autonomously while staying tightly integrated with a global team.
