Job description
Our client is a highly respected national logistics provider operating major freight corridors across Australia. With a modern fleet and an advanced Transport Management System (TMS), they are known for efficiency, reliability, and strong compliance standards.
They are now looking for a Data Entry Officer to support their Operations and Compliance teams.
Job/Role Responsibilities
1. Data Entry & Validation
- Enter and update transport data (manifests, PODs, trip summaries) into the TMS.
- Verify information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify discrepancies and correct errors promptly.
2. Documentation Management
- Upload PODs, certificates, and driver records into the TMS.
- Ensure documentation is properly named and filed for easy retrieval.
3. Reporting & Daily Coordination
- Generate summary reports for the Operations and Compliance teams.
- Provide updates on daily and weekly data status.
- Coordinate closely with onshore teams for timely data updates.
4. Compliance Support
Follow confidentiality and data-handling protocols at all times.
Assist with basic audits, checks, and compliance-related tasks when needed.
Experience in data entry or administration, ideally within transport, logistics, or operations.
Strong skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with PODs, manifests, or transport documents is an advantage.
Familiarity with TMS/TMS-like systems preferred but not required.
