Our client is a digital marketing agency based in Australia, supporting a wide range of brands through social media strategy, creative content, and performance-driven execution. They are now looking for a Social Media Specialist who can take ownership of day to day content production, posting, community engagement, and reporting, working closely with the onshore team for overall creative direction.
This role focuses on structured execution, consistent output, and maintaining brand presence across multiple platforms, while the onshore team handles strategy, client management, and high level branding decisions.
Job or Role Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities (Offshore Scope)
Create social media content using Canva and CapCut, including graphics, short videos, and captions.
Schedule and publish posts across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms.
Manage communities by responding to comments and messages within approved guidelines.
Monitor trends and recommend content ideas based on insights and platform behaviour.
Prepare monthly reports, including analytics exports, screenshots, and engagement summaries.
Conduct hashtag research, competitor checks, and engagement tracking to support campaign planning.
Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
Strong skills in Canva and CapCut for content creation.
Solid understanding of platform features across Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Ability to follow creative briefs and maintain brand consistency.
Confident working independently with clear instructions and scheduled check-ins.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
Experience in community management and basic analytics reporting.
