We’re seeking an experienced Field Marketing Manager to lead local marketing efforts across our Wingstop franchise portfolio. We currently have 15 locations across the greater Atlanta area and plans to expand to 20+ locations. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and execute field marketing strategy for a rapidly growing franchise organization.

Location: Atlanta, GA (Local candidates only)

Time Commitment: 25-35 hours per week

Field Time: 20-40% of time spent in restaurant locations, at events, etc

Rate: $65-75/hr

Contract: 6 months to start

Job Description

The Field Marketing Manager will own the local marketing strategy and execution for our Wingstop franchise portfolio. Working in partnership with Wingstop’s corporate marketing team (which handles national campaigns and provides brand materials), you will develop and implement localized marketing campaigns, community engagement initiatives, and field marketing programs that drive traffic, build brand awareness, and increase sales across all Atlanta-area locations.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves to execute, someone equally comfortable analyzing market data as they are visiting locations and engaging with local communities.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive local marketing strategies tailored to each location and the Atlanta market
  • Partner with Wingstop corporate marketing to adapt national campaigns for local market relevance
  • Identify and capitalize on local market opportunities, trends, and competitive threats
  • Create location-specific marketing plans that align with corporate brand standards while addressing unique market needs
  • Manage marketing budget allocation across 15+ locations to maximize ROI

Field Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Spend 20-40% of time in the field visiting restaurant locations or events across the Atlanta area
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community organizations, schools, businesses, and event organizers
  • Identify and execute local sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Develop and implement grassroots marketing initiatives and community events
  • Coordinate grand opening events and location-specific promotional campaigns
  • Serve as the local brand ambassador, ensuring consistent brand representation across all touchpoints

Campaign Management

  • Design and implement local advertising campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional channels
  • Develop hyper-local promotions and limited-time offers to drive traffic during key periods
  • Coordinate local influencer partnerships and ambassador programs
  • Manage local social media presence and community management for franchise locations
  • Create and distribute location-specific marketing materials and collateral

Performance Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, measure, and report on marketing campaign performance and ROI
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform strategy
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations team to ensure marketing initiatives support operational capabilities
  • Collaborate with general managers at each location to understand local needs and opportunities
  • Coordinate with Wingstop corporate marketing team to leverage brand resources and align messaging
  • Work with external vendors and partners as needed

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5-8 years of marketing experience with demonstrated progression of responsibilities
  • Proven experience in field marketing or local marketing for multi-unit businesses (restaurant experience preferred but not required)
  • Previous experience managing marketing for 7-10+ locations simultaneously
  • Track record of successfully executing local marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results
  • Experience working within a franchise or corporate/local marketing structure

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

  • Proficiency with digital marketing platforms, social media management, and analytics tools
  • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or fast-casual restaurant marketing
  • Existing relationships within Atlanta communities and business networks
  • Experience with franchise systems and brand compliance requirements
  • Experience with CRM platforms and location-based marketing technologies
