Wargaming invites a 3D Environment Artist to join its top AAA project - World of Tanks!
It’s a two-times Guinness award-winning vehicle action game with a 110-million army of loyal fans. World of Tanks is a cultural phenomenon that has entertained players worldwide for around 15 years!

As a 3D Environment Artist, you will be engaged in the production of all the necessary objects for our maps and hangars and work closely with the best professionals in the industry.
What will you do?
- Full cycle of creating 3d objects for maps and hangars:
- creating draft models, low poly and high poly for baking,
- mapping and texturing,
- creating LODs and havoc destructions,
- export and setup in the game engine,
- Collaborating with colleagues from other teams: VFX artists, animators, technical artists, game designers, etc.
- Create and customize materials and decals.
- Deal with the tiles and decals, high-poly photogrammetry objects.
- Participate in the development of new tools and technologies that meet the requirements of our art departments.
- Create and maintain pipeline documentation.
- Engage in performance optimization and bug fixes.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years at 3D Environment Artist position in game industry.
- Good modelling and texturing skills.
- Knowledge of low-poly optimization, UV-mapping, creating LODs.
- Ability to communicate productively, perceive feedback constructively.
- Ability to adapt to new tools and tech.
- Initiative, resourcefulness.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Basic skills in Level Art and understanding of lighting.
- Understanding and experience with the Photogrammetry process.
- Knowledge and skills in Substance Designer, Marvelous Designer.
- Art education.
Work mode
Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office) or remote from Poland
