Sperasoft is hiring for First-Person Shooter (FPS) project with AAA-quality visuals! We are looking for a skilled Environment Artist with strong texturing abilities and a keen eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local setting and art direction, ensuring their work aligns seamlessly with the game’s overall style. Responsibilities:
Work with Lead Artist and other artists to maintain production appearance, including quality and art style across all project assets
Develop, maintain, and create both high polygonal sculpts and real-time game assets matching project and studio standards
Create modular environment assets using trim sheets, tileable and unique textures, and effectively combine them to create high-quality assets.
Work with Lead Artist to ensure timely completion of game assets
Communicate regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks
Investigate client technology and be highly proficient in it
Help Lead Artist or develop briefs and documents for asset creation and training
Explore new technologies on the given platforms to achieve best possible results
Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard
Contribute to the team-oriented environment
Professional experience in the video game industry building architecture and props.
Strong modeling background. Ability to create, trim sheets, tileable and unique textures, as well as combine them effectively.
Strong knowledge of baking and texturing with tools such as Marmoset, Substance Painter. Ability to seamlessly bake assets made of multiple parts.
Strong Maya and Substance Designer experience is a plus.
At minimum, 1 shipped titles that exhibit AAA game-quality art.
A passion for creating games and the ability to learn quickly will be a plus.
