About this Role
You will play a key role in maintaining the financial books and records, as well as overseeing accounting operations for vendors and suppliers. You will prepare journal entries, process bills, and make payments. You will also be responsible for preparing different kinds of reconciliations. You will collaborate with finance and other departments to deliver data and support other departments in their interface with the finance department.Β You will be posting transactions for all subsidiaries, including the Polish entity.
You Will…
- Manage the supplier bills process and ensure timely supplier payments.
- Be responsible for distributing correspondence from a shared mailbox.
- Review and enter vendor bills, uploading them through the workflow system.
- Responsible for some of the payments in various currencies.
- Communicate with B2B party vendors, outside providers, and other relevant parties.
- Prepare journal entry back-up and book journal entries when required.
- You will monitor and clear AP transactions on an ongoing basis.
- Beresponsible for issuing sales invoices to both our contractors and for intercompany transactions.
- Support the Travel & Entertainment team with onboarding and offboarding tasks, and process employees’ and B2B expenses.
- Assist with the administration of monthly PL tax returns.
- Prepare month-end close schedules and reconciliations. Check month-end account balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with global tax and compliance tasks, as well as other projects.
You Have…
- 2-5 years of professional experience in an accounting team.
- Completed a university degree in the area of accounting and finance.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and tax regulations in Poland (Accounting Act, corporate income tax, and VAT).
- Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets - ability to create reports and tables.
- Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
- Experience with workflow processes.
