Job description

Solace is a healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and take charge of their personal health.

About the Role:

Advocates at Solace play a vital role in helping patients navigate complex health challenges and address health-related social needs. We’re seeking an Advocate Lifecycle Manager to lead the non-clinical journey of our advocate team, from onboarding and training to ongoing support and engagement.

Reporting to our Chief Medical Officer, this is a broad operational leadership position that will focus on developing and scaling the systems, tools, and processes necessary to ensure our advocates consistently provide excellent care.

🔥 About Solace:

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate the system without help. Using proprietary technology to match patients with experienced advocates, Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare and helps individuals and families make informed decisions that result in better outcomes.

Solace is a Series B startup founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures and Signalfire. We have a lean, fully-remote U.S. team distributed coast-to-coast.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the full operational lifecycle of Solace advocates from onboarding to off-boarding

  • Design and continuously improve onboarding programs, tools, and resources to ensure advocates are well-prepared from day one

  • Develop and lead systems that drive ongoing engagement, performance, and advocate satisfaction

  • Partner closely with clinical leadership to ensure non-clinical operations reinforce Solace’s high standard of care

  • Work with Product and Data teams to ensure workflows, tooling, and reporting are seamless, scalable, and integrated

  • Establish and manage frameworks for feedback, QA, and continuous improvement across the advocate journey

  • Implement structured, policy-driven off-boarding processes that support both advocate experience and organizational needs

  • Help define what excellent advocate success looks like and build the infrastructure to deliver it at scale

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MPH, or related advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant operational role; prior startup experience strongly preferred

  • Excitement at the prospect of working in a fast moving, high growth, tech-forward startup environment, taking complete ownership of the work you do

  • Comfort with developing a data framework to monitor the achievement of goals and tracking of KPIs

  • Proven ability to develop and implement scalable, people-centered processes and systems

  • Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and clinical teams to enhance service delivery

  • Strong project management and process improvement skills

  • A vision for what healthcare can and should be

This is a remote position. Applicants must be based in the United States.
